On Wednesday, May 24th from 2pm to 4pm the Philadelphia Area Cooperative Alliance (PACA) and Councilman Derek S. Green will host a forum on the potential for Philadelphia to build wealth in low-income communities by creating a cooperative business development program.
At this forum, we will hear directly from local co-op businesses, cooperative veterans, and guests from New York City who will share the story of their co-op development program. In addition, we will outline tangible, measurable impacts that this program will unlock, using the power of small business driven by the community.
